About The Position

Interventional Procedures Technologist Lead Position Highlights: • Interventional Procedures Technologist Lead • Department: Interventional Radiology • Location: Evanston, IL • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time • Hours: Monday–Friday, Days | What you will do: • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Interventional Procedures Technologists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations • Foster a collaborative team environment that supports professional growth and teamwork • Perform complex interventional radiology procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety • Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff • Oversee operation, maintenance, and quality control of imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and other interventional imaging systems • Coordinate equipment readiness, repairs, and preventative maintenance • Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and address patient concerns • Monitor patient condition and vital signs during procedures and respond appropriately to changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology; required
  • Minimum of 5 years of Interventional Radiology experience and 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience; required
  • Current ARRT Radiography (R) and Cardiac-Interventional Technology (CV) certifications; required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and Heartsaver CPR certifications through the American Heart Association; required
