Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. The success of Amazon Leo depends on the quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products that you deliver. If you seek a fast-paced, dynamic environment; if you thrive on solving difficult problems where resolutions have high impact; and if you love the challenge of building something from scratch, then this role will be an ideal next career step. To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing the highest standards of execution. The Lead Integration Technician is responsible for guiding a team of technicians to assemble, test, and ship production Leo satellites. This team will work closely with cross-functional engineering, test, quality and operations teams to deliver Amazon Leo production hardware at the final integration and testing level, prior to launch. This position requires skill and experience in a variety of areas, including mechanical assembly, avionics integration, rigging, electrical checkouts and environmental testing. You will be responsible for ensuring critical tasks to build Leo satellites are performed with high quality, high workmanship and safety standards, and on time.
