About The Position

Responsible for the appropriate control and collection of commercial insurance inpatient and outpatient accounts in the high dollar range. Acts as a team lead within the department. Stays apprised of changes within the industry in regards to billing and collections. Acts as a resource for the business office.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledgeable of hospital contract terminology and reimbursement methodology.
• Experience in hospital billing and claims.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
