About The Position

Overview We are looking and an experienced Lead Instrumentation Engineer in Aurora, OH. This role would include working with customers and automation teams to implement turnkey solutions around process instrumentation. Responsibilities Serves as Lead Engineer on project work for clients and is responsible for gathering and analyzing technical data used to furnish a design package of instruments to fulfill scope of work requirements that include, generating instrument lists, I/O lists, specifications, procurement submittals, operation & maintenance documents, training, and related design documents. Specifying, procuring, and calibrating instruments (i.e. flow, level, temperature, analytical, pressure, etc.). Perform as lead instrumentation engineer interfacing with customers. Maintain effective communication with project team members, other departments, suppliers, and clients. Perform basic field commissioning and start-up of process control systems as they relate to instrumentation. Direct and check the work of designers and engineers ensuring all standards are met. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in related engineering field (preferable electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering). Three plus (3+) years of experience with specifying, procuring, and calibrating instruments Knowledge of all facets of process instrumentation Experience with PLC programs and operator interface software Experience with P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, wiring schematic diagrams, panel layout and detail drawings Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel) Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with Autodesk CAD software Five plus (5+) years of experience PLC configuration knowledge is a plus Compensation & Benefits Highlights Competitive Base Salary: $95,000-$140,000, depending on experience Performance Bonuses: Bonus structure designed to reward results Travel Perks: Travel incentives + per-diem packages for field assignments Full Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement Ready: 401(k) with company match Time Off: Generous PTO which includes vacation, holidays, and unlimited personal time Grow With Us: Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development support

Requirements
