The Essential Skills (Software, Information Technology) Lead Instructor will report to the Academic Director and will teach foundational concepts related to our Essential Skills (Software, Information Technology) curriculum. Your role involves facilitating practical, experience-based learning that equips students with essential competencies and skills to succeed in business settings, emphasizing peer learning and self-driven curiosity. This role is a key member of the local academic team, may be expected to take on additional projects at the request of the Academic Director, partner with vendor to establish and enhance curriculum, and manage a team of instructors. To succeed in this role, you'll bring a passion for education, classroom experience, and diverse knowledge of Essential Skills (Software, Information Technology) and its application in the workplace. You're someone who finds satisfaction in facilitating creative, interactive lessons, and serving as an advisor and coach to our young adults. You will also have the opportunity to interact with students as a mentor, group facilitator, and advocate, contributing to building a positive educational environment. This is a hybrid and location-flexible role that will require occasional in-person activities for coaching and support of our students. You must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations where we serve students. Preference to West Coast candidates.
