We are seeking a reliable and skilled Lead Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead installations of residential HVAC systems and assist in training junior team members. The Lead Installer will be capable of leading a complete heat pump or air-conditioner/furnace change-out in a resident's home following industry, manufacturer, and company practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • EPA Certification Required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a lead installer.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems frequently encountered in support of HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Self-motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team.
  • Honest and dependable.
  • Valid, insurable driver's license; must pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC-related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Wire both line and low voltage to heating and cooling equipment.
  • Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
  • Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in residential and light commercial buildings.
  • Pre-measure jobs to identify proper materials required for install.
  • Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials required for install.
  • Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors.
  • Properly fill out all forms required for each job.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.
  • Any other assigned duties as directed by management.
