About The Position

SunVena is looking for a Lead Inspections Coordinator to join the Operations Department. The Lead Inspections role will be responsible for assisting the operations team in running the day-to-day operations for inspections. This position is to make sure all the parts that are required to progress a project are done on time, keeping quality and efficiency at all times. This position reports to the Inside Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • 2 year of inspection experience required
  • 2+ years of general solar office experience required
  • Must be proficient at multitasking and competent in project management
  • Excellent organizational skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications
  • Self-Guided and Self-Motivated
  • Must have outstanding follow-through
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Manage & track project deliverables and timelines
  • Schedule inspections such as rough, service, and final with municipalities and utilities to ensure timely project progress.
  • Address inspection failures by coordinating fixes, and confirm any required re-inspection fees or plan revisions are handled.
  • Stay updated with changing local codes, AHJ requirements, and ensure installations align with city, utility, and internal standards.
  • Maintain communication and positive relationships with AHJ’s
  • Interdepartmental communications
  • Works closely with Managers to prepare and update job progress reports
  • Monitor and assist in the daily production of the office and employees
  • Provide coverage and support during team members' PTO to ensure continuity of operation and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
