U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX. The Lead Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of installed infrastructure technologies as well as the installation and configuration of these technologies within a specific area. This role develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to specific projects and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements which will include the Azure platform.

  • Creating on-prem and public cloud systems for communication, sharing, storage and backup of data, including big-data analysis.
  • Provision, manage, monitor, and decommission cloud services, including automating provisioning and management of infrastructure in a distributed environment through scripting.
  • Involved with the configuration and maintenance of physical and logical network components.
  • Designing and configuring identity and access management solutions using Azure Active Directory, including Azure AD B2C, ADFS, SSO, and VPN gateway integration to support enterprise security and business continuity.
  • Implementing DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for deploying and managing Azure Cloud infrastructure.
  • Creating disaster recovery strategies and performing high availability, load, and performance testing using Azure-native tools and scripting techniques.
  • Developing and maintaining production-ready, auto-scalable microservices infrastructure using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) container orchestration best practices.
  • Migrating on-premises workloads and applications to Microsoft Azure Cloud, involving services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and integrating with automation pipelines.
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 3 years software development experience working with Azure.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software development experience working with Azure.
  • 24 months of experience with designing and configuring identity and access management solutions using Azure Active Directory, including Azure AD B2C, ADFS, SSO, and VPN gateway integration.
  • 24 months of experience implementing DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • 24 months of experience creating disaster recovery strategies and performing high availability, load, and performance testing using Azure-native tools and scripting techniques.
  • 24 months of experience developing and maintaining production-ready, auto-scalable microservices infrastructure using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • 24 months of experience migrating on-premises workloads and applications to Microsoft Azure Cloud, involving services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
