We are adding a Lead Information Security Engineer to our growing IT division in Seattle, WA. This role will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of our security capabilities. This role is critical in ensuring our organization's security posture is robust, scalable, and aligned with best practices across Cybersecurity framework capabilities.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • 7+ years specifically in security operations architecture or engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of security operations technologies (e.g., Arctic Wolf, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Fortinet, Netwrix).
  • Strong understanding of threat detection methodologies, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and incident response lifecycle.
  • Experience with cloud security technologies (explicitly Azure) and hybrid environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIA).
  • Experience with modern security architectures such as Zero Trust, XDR, Identity, and SASE.
  • Previous work experience in delivering value to organizations with an existing security framework.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of security capabilities.

  • Oversee security development in the product development lifecycle.
  • Design a secure network infrastructure.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Senior Leadership to improve the state of information security.
  • Manage Identity and Access Management.
  • Implement Endpoint Security.
  • Develop Threat Detection and Response strategies.
  • Establish Security Governance.
  • Enhance Cloud Security.
