About The Position

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. The Lead Infant Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, responsive, and stimulating classroom environment for infants (6 weeks to 12 months). This role requires a compassionate educator who understands early childhood development and can build strong relationships with children, families, and team members. Requirements

  • Minimum of 45 DCF hours (or willingness to obtain)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Prior 1year experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of infant development and care practices

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
  • Provide attentive, individualized care including feeding, diapering, and comforting
  • Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding their child’s progress
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers in the classroom
  • Ensure compliance with all state licensing and company standards
  • Maintain accurate records and daily reports
