About The Position

The Goddard School of Stony Brook, NY is seeking Lead Teachers to join our fun working environment. Positions are available for Lead Infants & Toddlers Teachers. This is a full-time position 5 days a week. The Lead Teacher is responsible for the following: Creating and executing lesson plans based on the NYS Early Learning Guidelines which enable children to observe, question, and investigate. Adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs and interests of all students. Observe and Evaluate children's academic performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Meet with parents and/or guardians to discuss their child's progress and needs. Maintain accurate attendance and health records as required by law, New York State Office of Children and Family Services, and The Goddard School. Attend professional development meetings and complete all required in-person and online trainings. Provide an exciting, challenging, safe, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow in.
