A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD INFANT TEACHER As a Lead Infant Teacher, you foster the growth and development of the sweet babies in our care. In this role, you provide what is often the first childcare experience for new parents. You develop positive, trusting bonds with them, so you can ease their fears and make them feel comfortable leaving us with their child. Every week, you develop age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that keep our babies engaged and happy. Alongside your assistant teachers, you play with the infants and take care of basic needs like feeding and changing diapers. You follow each infant's individual schedule, so every baby has their needs appropriately met. When babies start crying, you calmly tend to them and ease their discomfort. You maintain accurate portfolios for each child, keeping track of their progress and daily activities. You feel great about caring for and teaching the cuties of the next generation!
