Lead Infant Teacher (Closing Shift)

About the position

Join The Goddard School of McKinney as a Lead Infant Teacher on the closing shift, where you will play a vital role in nurturing and developing the youngest learners. We are looking for passionate educators who are excited to create a warm and engaging environment for infants, fostering their growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for infants.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Monitor and assess children's development and progress regularly.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities and milestones.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Follow all safety and health regulations to ensure the well-being of children.

Requirements

• Preferred to have a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including closing shifts.
• Must pass background checks and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning.
