About The Position

As an Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for setting clients up for long-term success on Clutch products by managing the implementation process for our Customers. As one of our technical post-sale consultants, you will drive the design, configuration, and delivery of Clutch’s platform. This role is a good fit for people with strong communication skills and a technical background who are experts at communicating and empathizing with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in a startup environment.
• 2+ years of professional experience integrating with web APIs.
• Experience with modern web frameworks is a plus (React, Node.js, etc).
• Ability to read, write, and understand code in multiple programming languages.
• Knowledge of Python, JSON, GitHub, terminal, and nice to have experience with JavaScript & TypeScript.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to identify and clearly communicate pragmatic solutions to complex integration problems.
• Self-starter with the ability to assess, troubleshoot, and work autonomously.
• Superior time management skills to manage multiple external customers simultaneously.
• A passion for working with people and excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Node.js, etc).
• Experience in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete onboarding and begin your first implementation alongside a tenured Implementation Engineer within 3 months.
• Become familiar with our project plans and implementation processes.
• Kick off your first client project independently.
• Lead your projects with confidence within 6 months.
• Begin taking your first clients live.
• Apply learnings and become fully independent.
• Help the team improve our documentation, processes, and develop new tools to improve our efficiency.
• Be fully independent in your role and work on areas to gather deep knowledge to become an SME within 9 months.
• Apply learnings from your first wave of projects to your second wave of clients.
