About The Position

The Lead Impact Coach/MAP Coordinator is a pivotal role within Rubicon Programs, responsible for fostering internal and external partnerships and coordinating services for the Mayor's Apprenticeship Program (MAP). This full-time, non-exempt position is based in Antioch, CA, and reports directly to the Antioch Site Manager. The Lead Impact Coach will manage a caseload of 20-24 young adults, specifically Transitional Age Youth (TAY) aged 18-24, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to navigate their career paths and personal development. The role requires a commitment to participant engagement, retention, and progress through various stages of the program, including pre-placement, placement, and post-placement transitions. In addition to program leadership, the Lead Impact Coach will work collaboratively with a team of Impact Coaches, financial coaches, Wellness coaches, and the Pathways team to ensure that a comprehensive continuum of services is available and accessible to MAP participants. This includes maintaining the Empowerment Plan, adhering to policies and procedures regarding participant interactions, and fulfilling data collection requirements. The position also involves case management responsibilities, including conducting comprehensive intake assessments, developing collaborative goal plans, and delivering individualized coaching through regular touchpoints with participants. The Lead Impact Coach will coordinate the scheduling and delivery of various workshops and job clubs, ensuring that they are tailored to meet the needs of TAY participants. This role also involves liaising with Business Services Teams to facilitate access to hiring events and training programs, as well as managing relationships with key city partners. The Lead Impact Coach is expected to contribute to program reporting and support site needs as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to cover gaps when necessary. Overall, this position plays a crucial role in integrating MAP into site offerings and ensuring that participants receive the support they need to succeed.
