The Lead II - Software Testing position at TekWissen involves leading the design, execution, and maintenance of test cases and test plans for software applications. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team to identify and address testing scenarios and coverage gaps.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans.
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on existing applications with minimal specifications.
- Execute manual test cases, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, record, and track defects in a defect tracking system.
- Perform database verification using SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency in backend databases.
- Utilize testing tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Understand and apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Analyze complex systems and workflows to identify potential testing scenarios and coverage gaps.
Requirements
- Proficiency in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans.
- Experience in executing manual test cases including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Ability to identify, record, and track defects in a defect tracking system.
