About The Position
Overview Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician/provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations. Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Training in one of the following medical professions: Required Respiratory Therapy or Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) or Emergency Medical Technology.
- Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
- 2 years of healthcare experience Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification through AHA Upon Hire Required
- Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas: Upon Hire Required CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Required or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Required or EMT - Emergency Medical Tech Emergency Medical Technician Required or CHT - Certification in Hyperbaric Technology Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Required or CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Surgical Technologist Required or Other CHT qualifying certification Required
- Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 180 Days Required

- Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience Preferred
