WSP is currently initiating a search for a Lead Hydrogeologist for our Richmond, Virginia office. This is a hybrid position, the chosen candidate should be in office at least 3 days per week. Be involved in projects with our Site Assessment and Remediation Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. Provides high level technical assistance and guidance for the collection, identification, compiling, and analysis of geological data from various media (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air/vapor). Plans and executes subsurface investigation projects, due diligence projects, and other environmental investigations. Ensures that documentation and recommendations accurately describe the results of geological analyses and address long-term risks to ecological and human health. Assists project leadership with environmental site assessment, corrective strategies, classification of contaminated materials, and treatment, disposal, and/or onsite remediation activities. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards.
