About The Position

Whaley Foodservice Technicians are encouraged to pursue CFESA training certifications, with many holding a ‘Master Certification’. The team provides service, repair, and maintenance for cooking, refrigeration, beverage, HVAC, and ware washing equipment. Whaley Foodservice is employee-oriented, with a high employee retention rate and continuous investment in training to ensure qualified and professional service. They are currently hiring experienced commercial kitchen technicians in the Louisville, KY area, specifically those with experience in commercial cooking equipment (fryers, ovens, grills) and/or commercial refrigeration (walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins).

Requirements

• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment (commercial cooking equipment like fryers, ovens, grills, or commercial refrigeration like walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins, or both)
• Valid driver’s license
• EPA certification required for refrigeration techs
• Ability to work independently in the field

Responsibilities

• Service and repair restaurant equipment at customer locations
