Requirements

  • An experienced HVAC Installer, preferably with experience as a Lead Installer (3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, wiring, and installations from the ground up
  • EPA Certification (required) – NATE Certification a plus
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to adjust communication style to provide the best customer experience possible
  • Ability to create detailed job notes for future reference
  • Willingness to teach and learn by sharing experiences with coworkers
  • Open to trying new ideas and recommending process improvements
  • Frequent communication with dispatch regarding job status and scheduling
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in customer homes and company vehicles
  • Commitment to working safely and helping ensure teammates work safely
  • Positive, can-do attitude

  • General knowledge of safe working practices and applicable federal/state OSHA requirements is required.
  • To adequately perform the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, use hands to handle controls, hear, and talk.
  • The employee frequently must reach with hands and arms.
  • Climb ladders
  • Work in hot and cold environments
  • Work in small crawl spaces and attics
  • Regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs. or more
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Employees must work outdoors throughout all seasons.
  • The position requires adaptability to interruptions and changing priorities, along with effective and consistent communication with customers, vendors, and team members
