About The Position

Parker-Arntz Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is a West Michigan based company in search of Commercial Lead HVAC Installer . Our Corporate offices are located in Greenville, MI but we have team members that live all over Michigan. We have projects going throughout Michigan & Ohio. We are a growing family owned company and are seeking highly qualified individuals that want to become part of the Parker-Arntz Plumbing & Heating Team. Qualified individuals must have a minimum (3-5+) years of experience, a journeyman's license is preferred be highly organized, self-starters, highly motivated and be able work 50+ hours per week. Applicants must have experience in commercial & multi-family housing (new & remodel) Top wages & benefits to the most qualified candidates. Company vehicle, phone, health insurance benefits and a 401K. We have multiple prevailing wage projects starting in the immediate future. We are specifically looking for Installers in Detroit, Michigan as well as Greenville, Michigan. Description: Seeking an experienced Lead Commercial HVAC installer with at least 3-5 years of professional experience.

Requirements

At least 3-5+ years' experience as a commercial lead
Flexibility with schedule during high volume times, ability to work M-F 7:30am-4:00pm with occasional weekend hours
Acceptable DMV report
Personal hand tools

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Building Management Systems
Ability to mentor and guide apprentices
Journeyman's license
OSHA 10

Responsibilities

Furnace and A/C Installation
Rooftop & MAU Installation
Duct Installation
Exhaust fans and louver installation
Radiant heaters
Gas and water piping
Ability to ensure that paperwork for each job is accurate
Read and understand project prints
Understanding of commercial construction safety and ladder safety, proper usage of ladders
The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools
Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds
Ability to maintain PPE-hard hat, safety glasses, protective toe boots, and high visibility outdoor work attire
Desire to maintain and promote company moral, professionalism, and friendly work environment
Ability to maintain the cleanliness of company vehicle
