About The Position

Liberty HVAC is seeking an HVAC Estimator to become a part of our team. You will
be responsible for all aspects of HVAC estimation which includes taking off
sheet metal, piping, and organizing vendor information to compile accurate
estimates for potential commercial and industrial HVAC projects. This candidate
must be well organized, hands-on, self-motivated and dependable with the drive
to succeed in a challenging and fast paced environment.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents
• Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of related trades for the purposes of coordinating various project estimates
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Quick pen, Fast pipe, or Trimble Auto bid software and estimating systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems using computer estimating systems and other related software
• Maintain estimating logs and unit costs for all projects
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships
• Perform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs
• Interact with the sales and project management teams to insure all projects are performed under budget and according to plans and specifications
