Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for bed management
• Performs various linen duties that are in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule utilizing approved aseptic techniques and specialized cleaning processes using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Responsible for the safe and proper use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety precautions and wearing personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure that a sanitary environment is achieved at all times.
• Provides functional and technical direction to other staff members.
• EVS/Linen Services liaison and/or support to other departments.
• May act as back-up to one or more processes outside of areas of expertise.
• Handles difficult questions, issues, and problems requiring independent judgment.
• Assists management with enforcing proper procedures and policies.
• Serves as a trainer, lead, or subject matter expert.
• May assume responsibility during management absence.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
