About The Position

The Lead Housekeeper oversees the coordination of daily work orders assigned to the team and is directly responsible for promoting a clean and efficient process for the assigned account. In this role you will be active in completing daily tasks and motivating your team members to meet the cleaning expectations of the property. You will help facilitate communication between the Housekeeper Supervisors and staff.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and some arithmetic skills may berequired
  • Duties require professional verbal andwrite(email)communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare andmaintaineffective working relationships with other employees, our clients, and the public.
  • Proficient with computer skills
  • Minimum of 1-yearpreviouslead experience
  • Bi-lingual in English & Spanish, or English & Creole
  • Valid Florida Driver’s license
  • This position demands good physical and mental health
  • The housekeeper supervisor willbe requiredto lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull andworka flexible schedule.
  • Must be able to move continuously during work hours
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry 30 to 45 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsibleto ensure the clients requests are assigned to personnel and completedin a timely mannerdaily
  • Provides support to the work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure a clean environment
  • Leads workers to ensure their duties, and tasks are completedtimelystandards of cleanliness
  • Must manage various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Mustcomply withall regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
  • Assistsin planning workschedulefor daily work orders and major tasks.
  • Assistswith issuing supplies and equipment to workers.
  • Evaluates feedbackregardinghousekeepingserviceand equipment, and coordinates with supervisor to take corrective action.
  • Attends training classes to develop housekeeping techniques and procedures, and to enhance leadership skills.
  • Records data concerning work assignments, personnel actions, and timecards, andpreparesperiodic reports.
  • Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons' feedback, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
  • Performsadditionalduties as assigned
