About The Position

Ready to work where every shift feels like game day? Batbox is reinventing the social sports experience - where high-energy baseball meets killer food, signature drinks, and unforgettable vibes. Think an electric sports pub meets batting cages, and you’re right in the middle of it. As a Lead Host at our Batbox venue (non-tipped role), you’ll be the first friendly face guests encounter. From the second guests walk through the door, you set the vibe - welcoming them with a smile, managing seating with ease, and making sure everyone’s pumped to swing, sip, and stay a while. You’ll be the go-to expert on what’s happening in the venue, helping guests make the most of their visit from start to finish. Here are some of your job duties: Greet every guest like a VIP and keep things running smoothly by managing seating and waitlists with confidence Know the menu, the simulators, and the specials so you can answer questions and share the excitement Be a team player and a positive force on every shift. Whether helping servers, answering questions, or jumping in where needed, you help the whole team shine Stay sharp by completing training, embracing new tools and systems, and staying in the know on promotions and procedures Lead by example training new staff on menu offerings, service standards, and venue policies Provide direction and give feedback to the team members to support operational opportunities.

Requirements

  • We’re looking for a team lead with 3-5 years experience who are enthusiastic, reliable, and guest-focused
  • You have a knack for making genuine connections and providing exceptional service, even during the busiest times
  • Proven experience in a lead role with experience of coaching and motivating a team
  • You’re energetic, organized, and love making people feel welcome
  • You’re calm under pressure, quick on your feet, and can keep things moving even during peak times
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • Be on your feet for 100% of your shift - walking, standing, and moving throughout the venue
  • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs
  • Navigate a fast-paced, high-energy environment where noise and distractions are common
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Frequently bend, reach, and stretch during your shift
  • Read and write handwritten notes
