About The Position

The Lead Environmental Services (EVS) Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various locations within a healthcare facility. This role involves performing a range of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff. The position requires working full-time on-site, including every other weekend and holiday, and offers immediate employment opportunities for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
