About The Position
This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and organizing medical records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive patient information.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Computer knowledge and experience with Windows-based applications.
- Keyboard Skills.
- Data Entry.
- Customer Service experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EPIC or electronic medical records.
- Must be able to correspond with individuals in a professional and considerate manner, answer phone, multitask between requestors and documentation of releases.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and reports on physician delinquency.
- Ability to handle all interactions with physicians regarding deficiencies and other pertinent issues.
- Assist HIM Manager as needed.
- Assist HIM Technicians with jobs as needed.
- Assist ROI specialist.
- Analyzing medical records to ensure accuracy for compliance.
- Completes scanning of the medical records after verifying all documents are completed.
- Assist with ED delinquency and scanning.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems.
