About The Position

We are seeking a Lead HBSS Administrator to support the DTRA ITSS II contract at Fort Belvoir. The DTRA IT Infrastructure supports approximately 5000 users using distributed operations between the National Capital Region (NCR) and DTRA Albuquerque, NM and supporting facilities on Fort Belvoir, VA, as well as sites in Albuquerque, NM, Eglin AFB, FL, and a variety of CONUS and OCONUS locations. In support of the DTRA IT Systems Administration Group, the candidate will support multiple computer networks at various levels of security classification. Requirements

  • Minimum Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 8-10 years of related experience
  • 8570 IAT II level certification, i.e. active Security + CE
  • Must have a DoD issued ESS Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • VMWare Experience
  • Windows Server 2016 and 2019 Server sustainment
  • Linux experience
  • Experience applying DISA STIGs/Security Patches
  • Strong writing skills with SOP and Policy development relevant to ESS
  • Experience leading small teams

Responsibilities

  • Configuring, tuning, and administering ESS systems
  • Ensuring OPORD and FRAGO compliance
  • Execute and monitor the progress of software deployments, upgrades, and installation of McAfee Agent, ENS Threat Prevention, ENS Firewall, DLP and other ESS security modules to host computers
  • Configure, test and deploy ESS policies based on STIG requirements
  • Utilize Experience building queries, dashboards, and reports
  • Create exceptions and/or exclusions within ENS Threat Prevention policies as needed
  • Provide OS level support for McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator software configuration and updates
  • Troubleshoot product deployment issues on host systems
  • Create, test and implement DLP policies for the data protection
  • Brief leadership in regards to compliance as needed
  • Work effectively independently as well as within a team environment
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability and willingness to take on new challenges
