About The Position

The position at Lockheed Martin involves providing technical and programmatic leadership for hardware design and support teams. The candidate will interact with internal and external customers to resolve technical issues and will be responsible for Earned Value updates as the Cost Account Manager for hardware engineering work packages.

Requirements

• BS and/or MS in an engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Computer Engineering).
• Detailed hardware development experience.
• Ability to obtain and hold a DOD Security clearance.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in complex systems.
• Experience leading small groups for technical execution on programs.
• Cross-Functional or Integrated Product team leadership experience.
• Cost Account management experience.

• Basis of Estimate (BOE) and proposal experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and programmatic leadership for hardware design and support teams.
• Ensure adequate trade studies, architectures, technical analysis, and common hardware solutions are followed.
• Work with First Line Managers to properly staff programs.
• Lead and interact with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support program planning.
• Provide Earned Value updates as the program Cost Account Manager for all hardware engineering work packages.
