Requirements
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in hotel leadership, including front desk and back-of-house operations.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong team building skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive in solving problems.
- Perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending and twisting for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Team Lead: Train and provide guidance to staff.
- Discuss staff performance discrepancies and training needs with General Manager and attend and lead staff huddles.
- Financial: Post checks in PMS, complete weekly labor tracker, manage payment due reports, postpaid outs and receipts.
- Guest Relations: Monitor and follow up on guest feedback and concerns, suggest and sell amenities, and ensure guest and property security.
- Housekeeping: Assign rooms to be cleaned by housekeeping and aide GM in inspecting rooms.
- Manage inventory, check property email, build relationships with vendors and guests, and foster teamwork.
- Sales & Marketing: Assist with in-house guest sales and marketing initiatives to increase occupancy.
- Teamwork: Assist with housekeeping in rooms as needed and daily completion of laundry duties and public space needs.
- Flexible for covering employee shifts as needed to ensure operational continuity in the event of unexpected absences.
- Emergency Procedures: Know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
