Job Overview The Lead GMP Floor Technician will be responsible for safely performing assigned floor care functions based on standards and procedures, performs environmental services as needed, and performs floor care such as waxing, stripping, buffing, and other contractual duties according to regulations. The Lead GMP Floor Tech will be responsible for overseeing activities within the assigned areas in the GMP program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. Adhere to, implement, and demonstrate safe work practices and procedures. Stop at risk behaviors in others and self Work with other employees in a team to complete assignments Perform repetitive tasks Maintain clean work area Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules Take direction and respond to supervision Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner Fill in during staff shortages, such as in custodial, recycle, or maintenance Assist with training employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures Coordinate and monitor workactivities Provide reports, such as pass down, Perform service, and safetyinspections Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair Track and maintain supplies inventory Issue equipment andsupplies Monitor of personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment Use proper personal protective equipment that is required for assigned tasks Present a professional appearance and conduct Understand customer service and satisfaction. Understand reporting systems, and of the environment Operate motorized cleaning equipment Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors: tile, carpet , and brick flooring Complete work assignments in a timely manner Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely Always observe safety precautions, using safety signs “wet floor” Ability to work without normal supervision Report safety hazards as appropriate Understand reporting systems and the environment Perform repetitive tasks in a GMP environment Perform sanitization duties to maintain a GMP controlled environment Consistently follow all customer and SBM SOP’s and procedures Respond to customer requests in a professional manner Fully train in area job functions for specific shift assignment and area classification including walls, floors, windows, wipe-downs, maintenance issue reporting, and shut-down cleaning Complete daily FN logs accurately and completely Must be trained and be certified in correct gowning procedures for assigned area Complete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer Standard Operating Procedures Complete all safety certifications including chemical safety Qualification To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
