About The Position

Western Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for a Lead Generator! Western Heating is a family-owned company that has been in business since 1967. This role is to support our growing Sales Department and is a critical piece to maximizing revenue opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, providing administrative and operational support to the sales team. Job Description: The Lead Generator is responsible for managing and tracking sales follow-up opportunities to increase close rates and improve customer experience. This role also serves as a backup to the Lead Sales Coordinator and assists with departmental administrative functions to ensure efficient sales operations.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (phone and written)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable following structured processes while managing multiple priorities
  • Experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles preferred
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Trade knowledge (HVAC industry experience or technical familiarity) is a strong bonus attribute

Responsibilities

  • Sales Follow-Up & Opportunity Management Conduct timely follow-up with customers on open estimates and proposals
  • Track and document follow-up activity within CRM systems
  • Re-engage previously quoted opportunities to maximize conversion rates
  • Coordinate with Comfort Advisors and Sales Team to update opportunity status
  • Monitor aging proposals and provide reporting insights to leadership
  • Schedule appointments or next steps as needed
  • Sales Department Support Serve as backup for the Lead Sales Coordinator when needed
  • Assist with scheduling, documentation, and proposal processing
  • Prepare sales packets and support documentation
  • Maintain organized and accurate sales records
  • Support coordination between sales, installation, and customer service teams
  • Administrative Functions Manage inbound/outbound communication related to sales opportunities
  • Generate reports and track key performance indicators
  • Assist with data entry and CRM maintenance
  • Support department workflow and cross-team communication
