Requirements

  • High School or GED required.
  • Must have a valid Louisiana driver’s license.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well groomed appearance
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and Holidays.
  • Must be able to work outdoors and in garage areas.
  • Must be able to navigate on level surface as well as up and down ramps and stairs.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations at all times keeping things orderly.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous parking experience preferred, but not required
  • Office experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Handles all aspects of the self parking garage operations
  • Ensures that customer’s problems / complaints are handled in an effective, courteous manner.
  • Assist in the supervising and coordinating the activities of cashiers on any given shift.
  • Handles guest complaints and on site parking problems.
  • Maintains volume in the garage and yields accordingly.
  • Corrects minor equipment problems, such as; gates, ticket dispensers and cashier equipment.
  • Acts as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourage others to do the same.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Fills in (as needed) in cashier booth as breaker or when volume dictates.
  • Ensures staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policy.
  • Coordinates breaks for cashiers.
  • Rotates through the garages in order to control: volume, availability and garage appearance.
