About The Position

We are seeking a Lead, Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, mission-critical applications supporting defense and aerospace programs. This role involves working across the full stack technologies in highly regulated environments, collaborating closely with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams.

Requirements

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience.
5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, C# and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular or other JS frameworks)
Experience in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java
Experience with database technologies (e.g.,Oracle, SQL, NoSQL).
Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Experience with Git, Github, or similar version control system, Jira, Confluence, and Agile development.

Responsibilities

Work with product managers, technical leadership, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to support the team as we bring advanced data capabilities to RTX.
Design, Develop, maintain, and support business systems applications, ensuring they meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
Lead a team of software development and quality assurance engineers with various levels of expertise
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
Participate in Agile SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile framework.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
