About The Position

In this role, the Technical Advisor/Lead Full Stack Developer will have previous experience supporting the Federal Government—preferably within DoD or the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development with the ability to translate user needs into effective and efficient software solutions. This role involves developing and enhancing responsive applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying design principles to optimize usability and operational performance.

Requirements

  • A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • IAT Level II
  • 10 years of software development experience in object oriented and scripted languages (see section 4.2) with the ability to apply several tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices and containers.
  • 2 years of experience in container technology to include but not limited to: Kubernetes, Docker, and Amazon EKS.
  • 5 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
  • 5 years of experience testing web-based application(s) across various security domains including but not limited to unclassified (NIPR), classified (SIPR), and Top Secret (JWICS).
  • 5 years demonstrate experience leading software development programs or projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements.
  • Practical experience integrating Restful interfaces and sending and receiving Restful information.
  • Practical experience developing and deploying software in a cloud environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required + 10 years’ experience OR Master’s degree in related field + 8 years’ experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Agile Test-Driven development.
  • Experience integrating into DoW DevSecOps environments.
  • 5 years of experience with CI/CD software development.
  • Experience updating and enhancing already developed software application baselines to meet stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, development, integration, testing, deployment, and evaluation of system capabilities and assigned projects.
  • Perform advanced systems engineering activities, including analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex systems and architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to support requirements definition, system development, process improvement initiatives, and specialized studies.
  • Oversee contractor engineering efforts across all phases of the system development lifecycle as they pertain to the JCO system and capabilities.
  • Serve as primary touchpoint to the Government PMO regarding the technical development of prioritized capabilities and the technical decomposition of requirements.
  • Lead and support the development, review, and validation of technical deliverables, including requirements documentation, functional architectures, and standard operating procedures.
