About The Position

Our VC-backed Client in Austin is seeking a Front-End Engineering Team Lead (React/Redux) as they bring their next-gen business growth platform to market.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience (Javascript), with focus on the implementation of React/Redux . This will be valuable to establish credibility with you team.
• 3+ years of experience developing and/or managing enterprise-scale implementations
• 3+ years of experience managing development teams and communicating deadlines/goals with stakeholders
• Personality: driven, self-motivated, adaptable, empathetic, energetic, detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Relational Database schema (PostgreSQL), Python, and the Django REST framework. This will help in architecture discussions with the Director of Engineering
• Passion for data warehousing, business intelligence, and predictive analytics

Responsibilities

• Hiring and training frontend engineers on the software development lifecycle and coding standards
• Working with the Director of Engineering and the product team to create/review measurable tickets and assign to team members with appropriate context
• Working with the Director of Engineering to ensure that the backend tickets fit into a time schedule that keeps the frontend team fully enabled
