About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and spearhead the transformational next generation Contact Center Solution. You will be working with cross functional teams to develop innovative, mission-critical, massively scalable solutions with best-in-class cloud technology and platforms that offer differentiated user experience to all our customers.

Requirements

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of experience with Node JS, JAVA, Spring Boot
5+ years working with Cloud Platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
2+ years of experience with Python

Nice To Haves

4+ years of Contact Center industry experience with design, development, testing, integration with vendors, CRMs and business applications.
Proven knowledge in one or more of the contact center sub domains such as: IVR/IVA, NLU/NLP, Real Time Omni channel Agent experience and customer journey, CX/AX experience optimization using AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning)
4+ years of experience with Node JS, JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, Distributed Caches (GemFire, Redis), Elastic Search technologies, GraphQL, and NoSQL Databases (Cassandra or Mongo), Graph Databases, Public Cloud Marketplace services
2+ years of Deep Domain Driven Design experience with cloud native Microservices designed and developed for massive scale and seamless resiliency, deployed on PCF/VMWare Tanzu, K8s or Serverless cloud technologies.
2+ years working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform and its services ) or alternate public/hybrid cloud and a proven track record delivering products with cloud services and cloud architectures at scale.
2+ years of real time low latency, front-end Web applications React, Redux, RXJS, Typescript, progressive Web Apps with responsive design with Rest APIs, real time eventing gRPC or Web Sockets using Micro front end architecture.
2+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks for Unit testing for Java/Python and UI Micro services, Service Virtualization and Contract Testing, API Testing with Blazemeter/JMeter, WebRTC signaling and audio testing including audio quality, performance stress and load tests, and chaos resiliency automated testing for full stack, lower environment data conditioning and testing.
2+ years of hands-on experience with TrueCD, DevOps with Cucumber, Jenkins
1+ years of experience with Playbooks, Vertex AI
1+ years of experience with GenAI
Experience working in Agile environment
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tool Terraform and GitHub, understanding of concepts and familiarity working within modern IaC/EaC pipelines.
Scripting and infrastructure automation, including Python/Go, Shell, Gherkin, PowerShell etc.
Professional cloud certification on Azure/GCP or other cloud providers.
Full stack application development is a plus.
Ability to rationalize risk controls into policy outcomes.
Good understanding of Network Security Experience and Enterprise Architecture and OWASP Security practices exemplified through previous projects.

Responsibilities

Execute on complex technology Cloud initiatives including those that are companywide, with broad impact to external and internal customers.
Actively contribute in developing cloud native microservices, and modern event driven, data lake and analytics solution, along with automating the provisioning of Azure/GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as a Code.
Adopt and champion standards and companywide best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions in all aspects such as design, development, automated testing, True CD, documentation of the Engineering and Non-functional requirement aspects of the Cloud platform.
Understand industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
Collaborate and consult with senior engineering managers, leads and architects to resolve technical issues and achieve goals.
Work in a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud centric solutions.
Work closely with Product Team and Vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services to meet customer expectations.
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines.
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs.
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors.
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals.
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor.
