About The Position

Carolina Foundation Repairs leads the way in Eastern North Carolina, when it comes to foundation underpinning, pressure-grouting, structural repairs and crawlspace remediation. We are seeking a professional engineer or EIT to join us here in the beautiful/historic town of New Bern, NC, where we offer a different business approach to the foundation repair industry. No high-pressure tactics, commission sales or pushy ad campaigns…. We operate solely upon referrals. Train with the owner/engineer to learn the art of foundation repair & design, while managing multiple crew leaders in achieving outstanding results. The eventual assumption of the owner's duties & responsibilities is the goal, with future ownership as a possible outcome.

Requirements

Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
General contractor's license/experience is helpful.
Strong work ethics, positive attitude and good written/communication skills are a must.
Valid drivers license in good standing.
The ability to perform basic physical demands common to general contracting or home inspection.

Responsibilities

Ability to evaluate all types of foundation and structural-related issues, associated with commercial and residential buildings.
Develop clear/concise reports which provide effective repair solutions and costs.
Supervise assistant /non-licensed field personnel in providing additional site evaluations and repair proposals.
Oversee all office personnel responsible for scheduling, accounting, billing and administrative duties.
Manage the efficient operation of all purchases and sales of equipment and materials.
Supervise shop personnel regarding vehicles, equipment and maintenance.
