About The Position

Provides case management to children and their families who have been placed in out-of-home care by the court system.  Responsible for the development and implementation of permanency plans for children who are in the custody of the Children’s Division. Trains, supports, and directs other foster care case managers.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years foster care case management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
• Critical thinking skills to assess situations and make informed decisions in the best interest of the child.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of child welfare.
• Commitment to the well-being and positive development of children.
