Position Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lead Food Service Worker (Host) to lead daily kitchen and dining operations. Requirements
- Previous experience in food service supervision or management preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification preferred but not required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment
- A passion for fresh food, hospitality, and dignified service
- Communicate well with staff, supervisors, and managers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee food service operations, including meal preparation, presentation, and service
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Monitor quality and timeliness of meal service
- Help create a restaurant-style dining experience with elegant meal options
- Ensures dishware, silverware, and equipment is ready for use prior to the opening of the cafeteria
- Assures all cleaning assignments are completed and documented
- Acts as a Lead Employee to co-workers in the absence of their immediate supervisor
