KBR is seeking a Lead Flight T&E Advisor (TOP SECRET + SSBI CLEARANCE) to join our team in the National Capital Region (Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling). The successful candidate will provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) Program Management support to the Advanced Sensors Technologies (AST) Program Office (PO) for the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) and Tactical Airborne Sensor (TAS).

Requirements

  • Top Secret/SSBI security clearance.
  • BS/BA and 10 years of experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with integrated teams comprised of military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
  • Experience working in a DoD security environment.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to evaluate, integrate and deliver radar and sensor technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience operating aircraft, airborne systems, or weapon systems.
  • Operational experience with DoD active-duty customers.
  • Experience with Advanced Sensor Technologies Program Office.
  • While the BS/BA degree is required, candidates are preferred to graduate within a Technical discipline, but it is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert assistance to the AST throughout the Operational Testing (OT) process to include: Serve as a value-added participant in all OT planning and progress meetings, providing the Government with recommendations for improvement to the processes.
  • Prepare independent assessments and analysis of OT progress for each major testing event, highlighting the deficiencies and the operational impacts discovered during OT.
  • Provide mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Assist with management of acceptance testing efforts.
  • Provide timely and accurate test-program status updates.
  • Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (System Readiness Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, etc.), program management and Test Readiness Reviews.
  • Participate in technical interchanges in support of T&E objectives.
  • Review the technical aspects of proposals that pertain to T&E missions.
  • Manage and verify the Prime's performance to the contract's specifications and requirements, and determining success in meeting system level T&E deliverables.
  • Produce and/or review DoD acquisition T&E products such as the Cost and Requirements Document, Capabilities Production Document, Capabilities Development Document, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, etc.
