Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Flexo Press Operator for our second shift at our Brea, California, facility. This position is responsible for operating flexo printing presses, supporting pressroom operations, assisting team members, and serving as the designated shift lead, securing the facility at the end of the shift.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of flexo press operating experience required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating Mark Andy or Nilpeter flexo presses preferred
  • Lead, senior operator, or key holder experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses according to job specifications
  • Review job tickets and verify stock, inks, plates, anilox rolls, and dies match job requirements
  • Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration to meet company and customer standards
  • Perform press adjustments and troubleshooting to maintain efficiency and minimize waste
  • Clean and perform routine maintenance on press equipment
  • Assist and support press operators, rewind operators, and press support personnel as needed
  • Serve as the shift lead and technical resource for press-related troubleshooting and support
  • Help coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and deadlines
  • Complete required production documentation accurately
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
  • Serve as key holder for the shift, including ensuring presses and equipment are properly shut down, securing the building, locking exterior doors, and setting the facility alarm at the end of the shift
