About The Position

The primary focus is to support the commitment to customer care by efficiently, and effectively providing the highest level of service. Must have excellent working knowledge of all services, products and procedures within the spa. Together they will strive to ensure our guest's comfort and satisfaction. Our goal is to exceed our guests' expectations every time they visit our spa. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES To provide the highest level of internal and external customer service set forth by the Kohler Waters Spas and Forbes. Team members are responsible for upholding consistency in all standards. A direct line of communication will be on-going among fellow associates regarding needs and concerns. A professional demeanor must be presented at all times. Every Massage Therapist, Finishing Therapist and Esthetician is responsible for: Meeting and greeting guests with professionalism Cleanliness standards of all areas within the spa including treatment rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas Using proper verbiage at all times Upholding and maintain set uniform and grooming standards Knowledge of spa services and amenities Knowledge of emergency procedures Providing the highest level of technical service and adherence to SOP's Meeting agreed upon retail sales goals by educating guests on at home care o Sales goals set depending on department and retail to service percentage Maintain continuing education criteria based on State of Wisconsin or Illinois requirements Adhering to policies put in place by Forbes, Kohler Waters Spa and Kohler Co. Perform special event treatments which can be held at various locations such as golf courses, Riverbend, Sports Core, TAC, etc. This would also include special events being hosted at the spa such as Spaliday. These services would be secondary to the position's primary function. Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Current and valid State license required
  • Massage: State of Wisconsin or Illinois, Department of safety and professional services, Massage Therapist
  • Finishing: State of Wisconsin or Illinois, Department of safety and professional services, Manicurist
  • Cosmetology: State of Wisconsin or Illinois, Department of safety and professional services, Cosmetologists
  • Esthetics: State of Wisconsin or Illinois, Department of safety and professional services, Ethicology
  • Participate in a minimum of 5 Kohler Waters Spa events
  • Follows Forbes standards and others put in place by Kohler Waters Spa
  • Prior experience in a spa environment preferred
  • Computer knowledge/experience helpful
  • Ideal candidate possesses strong, effective communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
  • Required to fulfill training criteria before customer contact
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays strongly preferred
  • Prior leadership experience is desired but not required
  • 4-6 years' experience in licensed field highly preferred

  • Perform any other duties as assigned
  • Oversees all new hire training for technical performance and Forbes standards
  • Participates in spa menu development (research, ideas, drafting SOPs)
  • Manage additional projects as assigned by Lead
  • Helps manage schedule of associates and in-house trainings
  • Mandatory attendance at in-house trainings
  • Participates in new hire service training and/or mentoring
  • Participates in spa menu development (research, ideas, drafting SOPs)
