As a Lead Field Service Technician-HVAC/Fire/Security Controls here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional technical support and service to our customers in the Industrial Controls and Networking field. You will be accountable for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise in Ethernet, PLC, industrial controls, and networking, combined with your guidance and multitasking skills, will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business. You will report directly to our Sr Field Service Supervisor. This position will support Clients in Hazelton, PA and north to Scranton, PA. Must reside within a 25-mile radius of Wilkes-Barre, PA metropolitan area.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers in the industrial controls and networking field
  • Provide advanced technical support and expertise for ethernet, plc, industrial controls and networking solutions
  • Apply safe practices to the installation and troubleshooting of modern building automation systems
  • Work off-hours, on weekends, and/or holidays as required
  • Be available for on-call rotation
  • Travel to company sites using a company vehicle
  • 3+ years of field service experience in HVAC, industrial or fire controls, fire, card access and security
  • NICET Level 1 certification, required
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in ethernet, PLC's or industrial controls and networking
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong guidance and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and people-oriented skills
  • Experienced in MS Office
  • Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
  • Bachelor's degree or technical/professional certification/training
  • NICET Level 2 or above, a plus
  • Previous technical/installation experience
  • Displays industry professionalism such as work ethic, communication, and time-management
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
