About The Position

As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional service and support for our fire alarm systems. Your technical expertise will ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers, while you work on exciting projects that make a difference in the community. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Des Moines, Iowa location on a on site schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of fire alarm systems, enhancing safety measures for various facilities and contributing to a safer environment for all.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in field service or a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of fire alarm systems and relevant technologies.
  • Experience with NICET II certification and its application in fire alarm systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to fire alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on fire alarm system operations and maintenance.
