About The Position

Symmetrio is seeking multiple Senior Field Service Engineers on behalf of a long-standing organization known for delivering advanced diagnostic imaging solutions; including CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound. This company provides sales, refurbishment, and end-to-end service for high-end imaging systems across multiple manufacturers. Preferred candidates will be located in the Midwest or East coast.

Requirements

  • OEM training on Siemens MRI and/or CT systems strongly preferred; GE credentials highly valued.
  • 7+ years of field service experience with diagnostic imaging systems (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound).
  • Proven ability to ramp, calibrate, and shim MRI systems in the field without direct supervision.
  • Experience working independently in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and/or mobile unit environments.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and network interfaces within imaging equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or equivalent technical/military training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced service and maintenance on MRI (Siemens preferred), CT, X-ray, and ultrasound systems across hospital and imaging center sites.

  • Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and adherence to OEM service standards on all work performed.
  • Coordinate directly with site contacts to manage scheduling, downtime, and service expectations.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance programs and support performance metrics such as uptime and response time.
  • Travel regularly to support regional service needs — including both fixed-site and mobile imaging environments.
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, parts inventory, and vehicle according to safety and regulatory standards.

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
