About The Position

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Three (3) years of Power Systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience; including relevant coursework and internship experience. Posses and maintain a valid and unrestricted State Driver's license. Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings. Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter. Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances. We will not consider candidates who: Reside outside the greater Houston, TX area. Active-duty military applicants are exempt from this location requirement. You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following: Associate's degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bachelor's degree engineering program at an accredited institution or applicable military training and experience. Three (3)+ years' experience working with power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics. Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques. Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single- and three-phase circuits. Strictly follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment.
