Rhode Island Energy (RIE) is seeking experienced professionals to provide (EE) energy efficiency sales and manage day to day customer relationships with our Large Commercial & Industrial customers. The goal is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and to effectively deliver mutually beneficial energy solutions and services, including energy efficiency, demand response and future RIE products and services. This position is designed to be the catalyst driving energy efficiency solutions offerings and delivering savings to Rhode Island Energy's gas and electric savings goals. The successful candidate would also need to effectively respond to other business needs of customers and essentially serve as the customer advocate & liaison to other departments within the company. As part of our team, you will also be responsible for researching accounts, developing strategic account plans, conducting all EE sales activities, and delivering on assigned sales targets. This includes maintaining a strong sales funnel, achieving high appointment and close rates. In addition, you will act as the first point of contact representing Rhode Island Energy to customers providing information about our available services and be at the forefront of communicating market developments in the energy industry in order to ensure the optimization of best practices for our customers and for Rhode Island Energy.
