About The Position

Our Private Dental practice is seeking a full-time, experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to support our growing office and join our team! Our ideal candidate is a dedicated and skilled professional, passionate about patient care, who works collaboratively and kindly with a team of other dedicated professionals. Experience with Same Day CEREC Crowns is a plus. Experience in placing all classes of Composite fillings required. Assist our doctors with Same Day CEREC Crowns, Implants, and all classes of composites A collaborative and positive contributor to our leadership team A growth and change champion and cheerleader! As a high-tech office, we update processes, technologies, and techniques regularly All clinical supply ordering, within or below budgets discussed as a leadership team; your input is incredibly valuable! Leadership of all non-licensed back-office staff Train new hires, including new hygienists and associate dentists, where applicable and appropriate Provide instructions with methods for infection control after procedures, and answer any questions they may have Schedule appointments for patient care follow-up, and walk the patient out Ensure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in: independently cementing crowns and placing all classes of dental composite fillings, diagnostic-quality radiology capture, CEREC experience preferred, but not required, and dental supply ordering within established budgets
• Experience with dental software and updating patient histories
• Radiology certification
• Positive, collaborative, kind, enthusiastic, and professional
• Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Same Day CEREC Crowns is a plus.
• Open Dental experience preferred, but not required
