About The Position

The position involves directing attendants and contractors to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of both the interior and exterior of the facility. This includes utilizing appropriate heavy-duty or specialized equipment such as extractors, floor scrubbers, shampoo and polishing machines, scaffolding, and lawn care equipment, along with proper cleaning chemicals. Responsibilities encompass routine cleaning, project cleaning (including stripping/waxing floors, shampooing/spot cleaning carpets, and maintaining signage/light fixtures/vents), painting, minor repairs, lawn care, snow removal, and preventive maintenance. The role also includes supervising shift cleaning crews and EVS maintenance operations, assisting supervisors in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of various systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and natural gas systems), and maintaining communication between departments. The position requires accountability for team members' day-to-day operations, coordinating workflow during shifts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Adherence to regulatory, safety, departmental, and company policies is essential, along with supporting safety and accident prevention programs.

Requirements

• Proven problem-solving skills.
• General knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and cleaning equipment.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, or lay for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform various physical tasks.
• Ability to work at heights of 60 feet.
• Proficiency in using personal computers and software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Integrity and adherence to regulated business standards.
• Must obtain a Virginia Lottery Gaming License.
• Open availability for scheduling.
